HELP! I CANNOT PLAY MOVIE CLIPS ON MY PC.

Hi guyz i have windows mp9 installed on my pc .i cannot play any clips i have downloaded from net.Even i cannot play any movie on my pc.First i thought it was problem in my cdrom drive but game cds run smoothly.Even norton 2005 cannot detect any viral threat.It happened after i installed ati video driver offered in march 05 issue of digit.Plz help me.thanx in advance.

Reinstall ur drivers or revert back to the old one. See if it helps.

Trying installling a codec pack as some files need there specific codec .

Well first of all thank you guyz.For your kind info i vud like to say the problem arised last week when i installed directx 9.0c redistributable from digit cd issue of march05.My pc hangs after i start playing any clips.Why is it so?How can i uninstall 9.0c ?Again, thanx in advance.

but as far as I know, the removal of directx must be done in safe mode.
