Default Regarding MTNL Triband

hey guys,
well new to this forum...seriously it rocks!
comin to the point,i am planning to go for a mtnl triband nu590 plan.
kinda confused.shld i go for mtnl coz well in sify i've heard they block ports specially for p2p and irc ports too.well i wanna know is this happing with mtnl also.
I also wanna know wht u guys think abt..........since MTNL is a public sector unit(PSU) any amendments in the IT Act will lead to blocking of ports to curb illegal downloadin of any type.
Well abt the NU590 plan will this stay or will they scrap it away well downloading 800-900mb a nite means approx 24gb a month.
currently i am on a 64k conn (night 8pm-9am+free on sundays and national holidays) for my cable walla, the service is ain't bad at all(suprised myself).
but the value for money ain't there.
and yes i've searched the forum ,wasn't really satisfied with wat i read.
guess u guys cud hlp a little more.
