Default the date lags


hi,
in my computer ,even if i change the time and dates,after few hours,it lags.wht is the reason?

maybe auto update of time is on and it updates the time for the wrong time zone

remove the auto update option and see

double click on the time on ur desktop. in the window wich opens, go 2 the INTERNET TIME tab. and remove the option from there.

As desertwind stated, it does look like your CMOS battery needs to be replaced.

But sometimes, removing the CMOS battery, and then replacing it back again also seems to work to put the clock back on track.
