Project Gutenberg is mainly for fiction and contain very old books. You'll hardly find any technical book there. He aked for computer related ebooks
http://www.itpapers.com/
is a good place for technology whitepapers.
http://www.ebookmall.com/categories/CATID34.htm
http://usa2.ebooks.com/subjects/technology.asp
are also good.

Well, I think u can find ebooks (or, anything, for that matter) FREE (!!!) from the Internet if u can properly use the search engine of Google.
Here is a hint:
Say the ebbok u want to find is "abcdefg".
Try this query:
Quote:
allinurl: +(rar|chm|zip|pdf|tgz) abcdefg
If u r patient and can search for a while, I am sure u will find the thing u want.
