About my System Perform

Hi,

i have P IV2.4Ghz,Intel845GVSR,256MD DDR,40 GB 7200Rpm,

But Now a days the System performance is too slow.even a single program not working wothout sherking.

i think the HAdrdisk is affected in Bad Clusters...How i removing that ?????


i am using Win98 Se.

My Advise is:

Back Up your Important info
Format your Hard Disk, Install Windows XP Professional with SP 2, and all the latest Security Patches from Microsoft
Install a good Anti Virus Software ; Be Sure to Update it and to RUN a Full Scan just following installation and keep it updated regularly.
Install Spyware/Adware removal tools/software , update to the latest definition files and keep it updated regularly, run systemically periodic scans
Your hardware is good enough for Windows XP, Use it - While installing be sure use NTFS.

well if r sure that the hard disk is the prob then try using norton disk doctor if still prob persists

then u should change the OS ...

since u say tht u bought a new system i suggest changing the os would settele it !!
