DVD to VCD

Hi,

I am downloading a movie using Bit Commet but its a DVD RIP , what I want to know is can I burn a VCD from it .

I do not have a DVD writer. I have absolutely no knowledge about DVD's as of yet , thats why I am asking.

Also it is split up in to 49 parts of 14MB each . How should I merge each part and then see it like a continuous movie.

ok...

1> about the converting... it already discussed. anyway use Xilisoft DVD Ripper to make it VCD, where u will find 74min/80min and mini VCD/DVD along with 2 ch sound with various encoder.

2> use any joiner to join all the parts. i think u can use NERO Vission Exp.

most probably, alongwith the 14 files, 1 of em will be a batch file and if u click on it, it will join up all the files

but im not sure...normally ppl do that depends if that guy has done it or not

what file extensions are those 14 parts ?
if they are rar then extracting the first one will extract them all
