VCD Dat Files on a DVD???

Hello Friends!

Is it possible to make a DVD behave as a large VCD. What I mean is, if I write a few DAT files that is on a VCD to a DVD, following the process of making a VCD, will the DVD players recognize it and more importantly, is it possible. If not, how can I get my VCD's converted to DVD's?

For the final step, use Nero > from create disc wizard select DVD-Video and put all the files in the red VIDEO_TS folder.

if you didn't convert the .dat files to DVD or if u want to make a Data DVD with .dat files... don't worry .. you can do it. i have a 4.7GB DVD where i have put all my fav .dat files and i can view it in my DVD, but u won't get the menu.

no idea abt making a large VCD, which will be burn into a DVD. i think no cuz VCD will closed at 700mb.
