Thankyou guys.

I am interested in this drive mainly because it supports connecting it to a SATA port on the mobo.

So, instead of connecting a HDD you can connect this drive to any SATA port which is much helpful since D915GAV mobo supports only one ATAPI device to be connected to the PATA interface.

But this will inable me to keep my existing CD/RW DVD which is connected to the PATA interface as slave and allow me to add one more DVD Writer to the SATA port. Copying of CDs will become much easier this way.

This drives are available in India from Zeta Technologies.

Anyone else interested can buy it from www.zetaindia.com

PS: I just came to know about Zeta Technologies, so gave the info.

Although Plextors are good, Pioneers are far better. They're available in India and should cost youjust a little over Sony/Liteon.
