Default DivX Encoding

Please help me with my DivX encoding. Tell me the math in DivX encoding. Some of the files I have encoded experience a audio video lag problem. How can I make successful encodings. I use MPEG4 Direct Maker as the software.

hmm
well the simplest and free software is dr. divx and virtualdub..
virtualdub needs a little gettin used to
get those... there shouldnt be any problems unless ur system cannot handle it therefore causing the lags
so post ur sys config here as well
btw if u wanna know how to use these software for divx conversion search the forum there are plenty of tutorials on it .
