Default multiple AVIs to 1 DVD

I have some avi files(DVD Rips) of 1.36 GB each.
How can I convert them into a DVD playable by my DVD player.
I have 4.7 GB blank DVDs with me.

I tried to encode using a software called DIKO but it showed that the process will take more than 24 hrs to make 2 AVIs to 1 DVD.
I had to stop it in the middle due to power failure.

Is there a easier way to convert them to DVD with custem menus & without audio lag.

Thanks

As for the pirated DVDs that have these 4-5 movies in a DVD, they use .dat files to burn if I not wrong.
I dont know how much time it will take to convert into .dat from .avi.

Or maybe Nero can do the job. Search the forums for more. I wont search for you.

As for the interactive menu's it can be created from a software, which you can search the forums, it has been posted some time back.

Just for info:
You will loose quality if you burn in a DVD video format. The same thing will be better if you burn in a data DVD and watch in your PC or a DVD player if it plays .avi/.mov also.

try out divx to dvd. it can integrate subtitles.
and later u can use ur burning software to burn it to dvd(like nero and sonic)
i take me an 1 hour and 40-50mins to encode one avi movie to dvd format.
and takes another 10 mins to burn it.
