Default write speed slow


i hav sony dvd combo (52x writer) (bought recently for 2.4 k)
it writes a cd(600-700mb) very slow abt 10 min...
once i got a older version of nero it started writtng in 5mins
but it got corrupted
i tried all new versions .........
but no help
anything to do DMA (this thing prompted me when i used older versions)

Check whether DMA is enabled.(Device Manager) Also what is ur configuration. if it have less memory then it cant write at high speeds.

Yes the DMA mode must be enabled for all the drives (Including ur hard drives).

How much is ur RAM???

Have u defragmented ur hard drive????

Enable your DMA and it should solve the problem.

i hav amd 2000, 512 mb ram
i told u 1 day it started writting at gr8 speeds(4-5mins)
but that version was always kinda prompting abt dma, etc etc other stuff(of which i hav less knowlegde)
i got that sofware deleted
and now.........
