Default problems a plenty :)


first of all please dont tell me to search the forum....if ur going to please tell met he correct terms...cos whenever i try i end up getting all the results i dont want

well i tried to do a quick convert from ntfs-> fat 32 and lost all the data on that drive.is there any tool to recover the data.

i want to install rh 9 on d: which is extended partition.can i convert it to primary without formatting? the rest of my partitions are in this extended partition.

fat to ntfs works.. the reverse doesn't !!!

ntfs to fat32.. dude my guess is u lost all the data.. format it agian in the format u want

did u convert from ntfs-> fat 32 or fat32 -> ntfs

i dont think we can convert ntfs-> fat 32

i think u must have formatted ur drive

Yup guss after changing FS it's realy tuff to get data back any way try easy recovery pro. might work for u ,
or if u have norton rescue than can go for that.

me gonna change to suse or pcq 2004 l8r today depending on what cnukutti recommends.
