Default No Shut Down


Somehow my shut down option has been deleted.Can't even shut down by pressing alt+f4 or alt+ctrl+del.Running Windows 2000 professional.Plz help.

Press alt + f4 and then select shutdown option will appear on using arrow key's select shutdown option.(before doing these close all the application)..And the press alt + f4....

try the command line shutdown!!
If it goes well , create a batch file for it !!

Goto: Start -> Run & type regedit, nevigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

And In right-side pane look for a key named NoClose, value of this key should be 1 there and simply set it to 0 or delete that NoClose key.

It should solve ur problem...
