Default guess what the problem is

hi,
i recently bought my pc .amd athlon xp 2400+,256 mb ram with 64 shared
graphics memory.asrock k7s41gx motherboard. When i try to install xp it
says "cannot copy file ...."(any file in middle of coping files in the
beginning) sometimes i press enter it contiues coping files and
sometimes i have to press escape to leave the file not copied.I restart my
installation and this time it is another file that is not copied.i
replaced my cd rom.this didnt work.however installed leaving some files
behind, sometimes it runs properly, somertimes while starting a blue screen
appears for a fraction of a second and restarts.this happens a couple of
times and then scandisk appears and it runs properly.it has got another
problem,it restarts suddenly while running some programs.I had warranty
on my hard disk so have given it for replacement.(seagate barcuda 80
gb).i got a new hard disk.i installed win 98 this time after some use while starting it says replacing registry files and then after going to the desktop
all the drivers and programs are gone!!i am fed up with the problem.this had happened three times till now.If you can give a solution to this problem ur great

Chances are your windows XP Cd is currupted...most plausible thing you can do now is dump the windows XP cd on you harddisk....and run the Installation...still i suggest you get a new bootable Cd of windows XP and run your setup...you can always use your licensed Key latter when it asks for the key ...but i am sure if u use another windows Installation cd it will work...
