Default Partitions Deleted!!! HELP!!! HELP!!!


I was reinstalling XP and formatted my C:... The setup deleted all my partitions.

I have extremely i portant data on my D: which is now in the unpartitioned space.
Can I recover my data as it was? Now I have connected my hdd to another sytem...

Pls suggest me some software to recover all my data. Its extremely iportant!

i once faced a similar problem, did some research online and found Active partition recovery. I bought v 2.0 for $30 2 years back but man, did it prove its worth!

There must be various other applications but I'd recommend the above, simply because i have actually used it. Oh yeah, be prepared to keep yourself free for hours as recovering each partition may take anywhere from 2-6 hrs.

Try Using PC Inspector File recovery, Ofcourse this too takes long hrs to gather the recovered clusters.
After complete scanning find the required data (file name) from the cluster list by using the "Find" Option
