Clean User

I want to create a new user on my win Xp machine wherin want to dissable all themes,effects and eye candy.
So i was wondering how do i disable y'z dock fro starting up ?
rest all is manageble..
BTw if i cahnge icons on my user will it be affected in the other user too??

To disable y'z dock from starting up ..
# Remove y'z dock from
Start-> All Programs-> Startup
(if present there) or from
Start-> type "msconfig" -> Startup tab -> uncheck it.
# Now place y'z dock's shortcut to
C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

This will make y'z dock to start only when a certain username logs in.

As for icons, I think it should affect all users because the corresponding information is stored in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT entry in registry. Any change here must affect all users

the problem is is if i put in my user>Startup
Microsoft's Antispyware keeps popping up sayiin sonad so program has been allowed on your startup ebry time my PC starts...

ok .. then put the same in your registry

Open "regedit" from Start -> Run dialogue
Migrate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run"
Create "run" if it's not already there. You can do that by right-clicking currentversion folder and selecting New ->Key .. rename it to "Run"
Now, in the Run key ...
Create a New -> String Value ..
give it a name .. say "yz dock" and put it's value as the path of yzdock in your drive.

Tell me if this works for you.
