Compaq Presario S6010IL

Hi all,

I am planning to buy second hand computer Compaq Presario S6010IL which has an AMD Athlon XP2000+ processor and VIA KM266 Chip based mobo. and 256 mb RAM. I need help should I buy this pc for 13000. I tested that PC its graphics is too bad so I am sure I will need a graphics card so which card I should go for it support 4X agp card
Or I should go with the new Compaq Presario SR1512IL with AMD 64 XP3200 CPU and K8S-LA Mobo with 128 MB Ram and 40 GB HDD 5400 RPM at price of 23000. Both has 17" monitor. Please let me know which one to go.

well dude, just check if km266 based boards haf an agp slot anyway! of corz the new one is better. but stuff in at least 256mb ram and an 80gig hdd. otherwise config for gen purpose usage is quite ok.

It has an 4x agp slot so which card I should go for if I take km266 system my budget is not more then 2k for graphics card nor I m hard gamer but want it should be good while running application like virtual Pc.
