Yahoo messenger 7.0 is not installing.

I am trying to install Yahoo Messenger 7.0 but it does not move after showing step 1 of 6 and when i close the application, then i will come to know that the installer is not responding. I recently downloaded it and tried to install but in vain. I am using Win 2000 Server, Sify Broadband, Norton Personal Firewall and Protector Plus Antivirus.

R u installing the setup while connecting to net?

I think u hv d/l ed the installer and u hv to connected to net while running this installer, bcoz it requires data to be d/l ed from net.

Yes, i tried several times after connecting to net. But at step 1 it says press next to install and then nothing happens. And when i close it it will show "not responding".
