Default How much MB is used when we surf the site


Hello Everyone

i just applied for MTNL DSL399 Plan. they said we wil get 400 mb download per month. as i inquire to them they said they also count site surfing as download so can anybody tel me how much approx in kb or mb when we surf the site. or anybody had idea abt the same.

MTNL is describing Site Surfing as Downloading

How This wil be processed any body has idea ab tthe same

depends on the site...
when u use google and in he search results the approx size of every site is given....... u can check thier

Its not funny, they don't know if you're visiting a site or downloading a huge trailer off the Web, so instead they just monitor the traffic coming in and going out of your system. As for the amount of traffic, it depends on the site you visit, the graphics the site loads, dynamic content at the site, the filesizes, lots of things. You need a bandwidth meter to monitor the amount of data you are downloading. Search the forums, there are lots of threads on bandwidth meters. I am locking this thread because there are so many threads relating to the same thing.
