Default Memory bolcked as per Task Manager???

Hello friends!

Please check the snap of the task manager that I have included along with. Can anyone please tell me the details of the processess that are using my computers memory as well as my processor speed. Please also tell me which are the different process that I can switch of without any problems. I am really concerned about the top 5-6 processes as they are blocking most of the memory.

Thank you.

aah .. system idle process is eating all the CPU ..

jokes apart ...
everything looks fine to me too except that Machine Debugger Manager (MDM.exe)
Firstly .. it's quite useless .. Read this for "How to Turn Off the Machine Debug Manager"
Secondly, it could be a trojan too. Read THIS

Just check on that.

You can disable SPOOLSV.EXE if you are not using a printer. Its turned ON by default even if you dont have a printer connected to your system.

U can safely disable following services:

hkcmd.exe (used to enable hot keys for changing screen resolutions)
igfxtray.exe (used to show system tray icon for screen resolutions)
MDM.exe (as it_waaznt_me suggested)
spoolsv.exe (as Netjunkie suggested)
Webshots.scr (as it_waaznt_me suggested)

@ashu

# Cant see the whole list in task manager. You should have resized the task manager.
# From what I can see, do you frequently use InCD ? if not, then switch it off.
# You probably resized the 2nd and 3rd pic ... I cant understand anything there.
# IMP: Next time you take a screenshot of taskmanager/msconfig .. single click anywhere on the window .. and press ALT+PrintScreen (insteasd of only PrintScreen).
It will take a screenshot of only the active window. Just like go4saket's pic.

Neways I am again posting a screenshot of my TASK MANAGER so please suggest me wat processes to keep and wat to disable..

Also tell me how can i maximise the startup window in msconfig so tat i can take the screenshot of the entire screen (without the scroll bars included) coz in my previous post aslo..i couldnt get a whole screen for the Start up so had to mention it as TOP and BOTTOM part of the screen.

Nothing much to be done in Task Manager ..

For msconfig ..
It cant be maximized .. but
You can use other softwares ex. Regesupreme Pro to get the list.
In regesupreme, go to 'starting programs' tab and click File -> Save list as.
Many other such utilities can help you in this respect.
