HP Cartridges under 700??

Hi Folks,

I've learnt that the new range of HP Printers has cartridges which cost under Rs. 700. Is this true? As far as my knowledge goes HP cartridges have always cost around 1200-1400 Rupees. Has anybody used the sub 700 cartridges? Are they original HP? What model HP printers carry these cartridges?

Yes, they do cost some 680-700 bucks at lamington
and they are original
Even the MRP's are around 900-1000 bucks

as far as i know hp b\w cartridges cost 900Rs. and 1100Rs. for colour...

whew... and a new printer costs 3000Rs.

Hi folks,

I am keen on buying HP inkjet 3940 printer. On seeking more info abt the printer on the HP website, i learnt that the the black ink cartridge used by the printer contains only 5ml of ink!!!!! I really don't know how long would 5 ml last. A neighbour of mine has a 2 yr old hp printer and the volume of the ink cartridge is 28 ml. Am i misunderstanding something or is HP going bonkers by providing just 5ml ink cartridges??

Any idea what would be the cost of an orginal 5ml HP 21 inkjet black cartridge?
