iwant to know that is sli technology only works with two identical gpu i.e. it will not work with 6800 and 7800
also i want to which is the best dvd writer

no sli wont work with 6800 and a 7800 put together.
but newer version of forceware will allow you to put in two different brands of the same card together..
like say a big 6600 gt and a xfx 6600gt together... can work seamlessly.

the best dvd writer accoreding to many here is the benq dvd writer .. 1640 .. for around 3100 rs
