where is the yahoo msngr archive stored?
can the archives be converted 2 html or pdf or any other 4mat so that i can share those wid my frenz.

the archive it stored in C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles select your appropriate profile and there you have .dat files which are archives....u can read and save ur archive from yahoo messenger itself... then once the archive is opened u can go to menu >save> save it by any name...if u save it in html form u will lose the formatting so better go for txt

Its stored in:

C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles\< Ur Yahoo! ID >\Archive

And u can use following s/w to read the archieve:

Yahoo Message Archive Decoder 3.3

good one...wanted to post that link but since that can be used to read others archives wch may be illegal to discuss..so i dint..but anyway good work Vishal

But its not illegal s/w.
It allows to decode the archive stored on ur HDD only...

thanx. this s/w fulfills my need

but..any1 can read my archives ...that is the bad thing about it.

Edited: no now i have set an access password so that none else can use it.
