They would be on SIMM slots then...Im guessing.

I have some SDRAMs with me in working condition but no machine. I shall have a look at it & get back.

I have a Kingston 128MB SDRAM @133MHz.

Will that do fine?

Nope, 133mhz [128mb] will not work.......

The engr insisted on 64mb SDRam, 66mhz only as that only suits Pentium 133mhz computers.

What do u mean by SIMM slots? How do i check it?

asked for something close to that and the price was fairly steep, just a case of demand and supply i guess and this guy was out to make a quick buck, so when i backed out he suddenly dropped prices..

The kingston I have is 128 MB 100Mhz but I used it for an AMD 266Mhz.

The 32MB I mentioned I was using it on a Pentium 133Mhz.

I shall confirm in a day.

Havent u any 64mb Sdrams for p133mhz?

Last evening an engr checked on the SDRam with 32,64,128,256 mb's and none detected. All of them showed 64mb[EDO, existing memory] when the sys boots..

Why is it and what can be done?

That can happen in two cases
1. The Ram fsb is not matching with MB

--> Check the manual of your motherboard

2. The motherboard has went worng .. there may be a fault in DIMM slot

Are you dumb ..

I have written that

1. READ THE MANUAL OF YOUR MB

2. in second case .. if the MB is faulty .. YOU HAVE TO GET IT CHECKED

but dont ask from where!

Apologies for the late reply. I was taking sometime to check the RAM modules.

I dont have a 64MB module. As I mentioned earlier, I have a 32MB module & a 128 MB module.

Hi...sorry for no replies.

I was busy with work and then Diwali time I was out of town.

I took snaps of the RAM modules to explain the SIMM & DIMM cos they fit in differently. I just wanted you to know.

One RAM Module is 32MB SDRAM 66MHz DIMM
The other older one is only 16MB DRAM SIMM
