If u add copy-protection to ur CD, I don't think even u will be able to copy it. These tools can be used to create a copy-protected CD :

CCD-Lock
CD-Protector
CloneAudioProtector
Easy Audio Lock
FreeLock
TZCopyprotection
WinLock
WTM CD Protect

Go to http://www.cdmediaworld.com/hardware...otect_cd.shtml for details.

once i burned a cd with contents of about 680mb at 8x. To be amazed it burned with an error in 37 secs. Astonishingly, the cd was burnt completely and heres the answer i was unable to copy the cd contents to my hard disk. want to try this risky trick.

I think better zipping and protecting the better option would be to make a virutal cd and add password to it. and you can burn that vircual cd in to real cd  sounds funny but it works

then you can mount that virtual cd to your vrtual drives and enjoy!!!!

BTW what's in that cd kiddn'

Well you need a CD RW. Burn the cd normally then run virtual cd.

Select create new virtual CD.
Then it just beofre the creation begins it ask for password if you wish to use. There you can select the password.
Then let it create the virtual cd
After that burn that virual cd file to the CD that's u like
When ever u want to use the CD just put the CD in the physical CD rom and mount the image file to the virtual drive and enjoy

It's simple and secure
