It means it'll replace the old msconfig.exe file with a new one.

So we can get directly that file from some1 if we don't hv original windows XP

Very Strange!!!!

I d/l ed and installed this update successfully on my XP Professional with SP2.

But i can't see that extra tab Tools ?
I restarted the system but no benefit!!!

Did ne1 faced the same problem?

PS: Wonder! What the update did, if it didnt add that extra tab?

I installed on mine and went smoothly. got the Tools tab. no issues.
