Need help in Upgrade

My present system config
845GV Motherboard with 1.7GHz Pentium 4
512MB SD RAM.
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.
80GB Samsung HD

Planning to upgrade to AMD based system..retaining the AGP card and HD.

I need suggestions in choosing a config that supports AGP and PCI e...
thinking of 64bit pro..
Prices if possible ..

If u have SDRAM, you will need to upgrade to DDR... I suspect however that you have mistyped it...

Not very aware of current best Mobo, Processor, so I will let someone else answer it...
