I have a question related to this.

I have a Toshiba standalone DVD player. Dvd player repeated video during the starting 10 minutes of any track so I took it to the service center. They said that the lens has become foggy.

What could be the reason for this?? I frequently used the lens cleaner. Any measures to prevent this from happenning with a new lens??
