Help me to create and edit (.icon) file

i use a software in which i have to use .icon files for image thumbnails. so pls help me to search a software which can create and edit .icon file.

i dont know whether u can create or edit .ico files with IrfanView, but u can convert other formats to .ico.

Try Microangelo. It also contains studio, good for your job.
There are many such programme available.

Use Paint that comes with windows. Make a 32x32 pic. Save it and change the extension to .ico This is the simplest way of doing it. Alternatively, get hold of knoppix, boot from it and you will find an icon editor in there.

First build images with Photoshop or something like that and then use Icon Developer from Stardock to create the icon from that image. That's the way I create. Visit my gallary and see the quality of my icons.
