Default A Multiple Net question

I have 2 connections : Iqara and Sify

Now Iqara is on USB and Sify comes on LAN wire and 2 local area connections are made..

Is it possible to switch on both and make programs specific to use specific connection..

Cause suppose i dont connect to SIFY on net ( U have to dial for it ) and wanna use IP messenger on Sify and rest all on Iqara.. can i define this somehow..

I dont think so.. but just givin a try..

I think it is possible by altering the routing table manually, though I haven't tried it but I think I have seen it somewhere. Even if applicaton level redirection to different isp is not possible, you can seggregate traffic based on destination network, if this is possible.
