far less feature, only one skin by default, can't even use the native windows UI,

ACDSee 8 rox, however ACDSee classis is also enough

cheap & best, Quicktime 7 Picture viewer, thats what we use in our institute, just double click & it's open in an instant, although no File browser like thing, only a viewer

SystemError, Heaps of thanks for that link, am downloading Faststone now, lemme check it out . Here are my views on image viewers and why you should use which and where>>
1) Irafan view. Faaaaaaaaast. yes. but try dragging a thumbnail into photoshop and it sux. Use it only for eyeballing pics.
2)ACDSee. toooo sloooowww. but, it has drag n drop into photoshop . coreldraw. et al.
Lemme see if Faststone allows drag n drop to photoshop.

Try Freshview from Fresh Devices. Its free (requires registration) and very good. I tried Faststone, Irfanview and was not very comfortable with it... Also love Picassa.

I dont use ACDSee as it is not free. By same token, I dont use Photoshop. For simple editing, I use PhotoFiltre. Gimp and Paint.NET are two other very good free alternatives for photo editing
