No Sound in DVD movie files using WMP 10 !!!

Guys!
I hv Samsung DVD drive and copied some DVDs on my comp.
I hv installed k-lite codec pack.
And also hv enabled DV support in WMP 10.

Whenever i try to play those files in WMP 10, it plays the video but no sound comes.
But when I plsy same files in Media Player Classic (which installed with k-lite codec pack) it plays them perfectly with sound without ne problem.

What can be the problem with WMP 10?
Recently i had WMP 9 , it also giving same problem, I installed WMP 10 but no benefit.

Is there ne solution?

PS: Pls don't suggest to install DVD player s/w, i don't want to install ne other s/w. And why should I install if Media player classic can play why not WMP 10?

I guess if u're online and u have not blocked WMP's internet acess in ur firewall, it should automatically download codecs to play that audio.

This happens with me too. All codec are installed n still nothing happens. Anybody help.

I hv WMP 10 and hv enabled Automatic updates and automatic plug-in d/l options too.
But still it shows only video not audio.
And when i try to play it using Real Player 10.5, it says that no DVD player installed and I hv to install one.

Is there ne solution for it?

I have never faced such a problem but as of now I use Ace media codecs with Media Player Classic and everything plays in it and WMP too without any problems. To get through the problem in WMP 9/10 try installing Nimo Codec Pack and selecting FULL install during the setup.

whenever i install this pack i am unable to play .mp3 files in WMP

when i unistall nimo codec pack the mp3 files play again

Dont know what goes

Is there ne specific codec, which can solve my problem?

I mean ne specific codec and its URl, from which I d/l that small codec and install it and then WMP 10 also starts playing DVD movie files properly with sound...

Unistall the codec packs and install the ffdshow. It will play fine.
Or in case you want only a codec pack to be installed, then install XP codec pack and install the DVD codecs only and your file will play fine.
