Default CD drive problem

Hi all,

Recently i am facing one interesting problem , The problem is , CD drive automatically closes (often)if i leave it for some time and not vice versa . I checked with updated anti-virus and confirmed that this is not due to virus.

what might be the problem ?.

Thanks

this happens quite often when the tray is faulty, i think there's notthing much you can do about it, get it serviced.

might be a prob in the motor, and even if it does close after sometime, aint it good??? Prevents from breaking the tray. my frnd broke his cdrom's tray.
Also try keeping a disc in the rom, and see if it closes then coz samsung drives(if u have one) tend to behave in such a way.
