Just looked up your motherboard specs at MSI. http://www.msi.com.tw/program/produc...&MODEL=MS-6714 It has no onboard raid controller. So, you'll need to buy a third party raid controller card.

For the rest of your query read - http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25227
