Default Bluetooth does not work

I have an Acer Travelmate 4150 model laptop. The bluetooth of my sys does not work. I have tried reinstalling drivers but nothing helps. Even the bluetooth light on the panel does not glow. Earlier it worked fine. But for some unknown reasons it has stopped working. PLZ HLP

thats the problem with acer bluetooth
the device wont get detected if u unisntall and try to install
or if u try to upgrae drivers
run the recovery cd and reinstall ur OS
it should be back up

ofcourse before this check if it is listed in device manager or no
if not then follow the steps i said

I have already checked the device manager but the bluetooth seems to be working from there. Even in the sys tray the icon appears and BTTRAY is always loaded during boot. But neither is the cell detected nor does my cell detects the comp BT. Reinstalling OS is the last resort but I would like to exhaust all poss. remedies u can give. Thnx

There is no bluetooth device appearing in the device manager...But while installation, BT is detected only on the sys i.e inbuilt. Other BT devices are not detected
