Default Memory selection

Which is better brand in memory......Kingston or Transcend?? I saw there are two chipsets in Transcend......mosel and Samsung. In Kingston there are several chipsets.....kingston, hynix or mosel. Which should I buy???

kingston kingston kingston.......and kingston.well transcend is gud but kingston is betta so go for kingston widout any 2nd thoughts.

for me its KINGSTON then TRANSCEND, but many members prefer Transcend over kingston

Both are reliable brands, go for the one with lowest latency in DDR400

Transcend is equally good compared to Kingston......go for any.....

hmmm...Hynix D43 chips comes as rebranded Kingstons. If you get your hands on them then damn good. Cheap and reliable. Kingstons come with a 3 yr warranty.

I have got 2 x 256 mb ddr 400 transcend .. timings 2.5-3-3-8 for ddr 400

Working very well for me ... no idea abt the kingston ...

Definetely better than the hynix though ... ohh it does have three years warranty.

My kingston value ram is (400 mhz) is working at 2.5-3-3-6 without any problems ... and it comes with a 3 year warranty too..
