Default Try this Out


There are a lot of geeks out there find a solution for this. See i have a frontech Motorola Sm56 modem i want to install the modem in windowsXP professional.
Know for the cache
1.I don't have a sm56 modem drivers

I tried out this way:

1. I got into the internet and found the drivers for my sm56 modem, and installed the drivers. why i check my device manager i see that the modem cannot start.

2.If you think i got the wrong drivers, I connected to the internet through my other modem and made my device manager to check for the modem drivers, but there is no luck the same old news modem is not installed.

get me the Answer PEPS 8)

I think it is a BSOD.

That's problem had been bugging me for years....

You have to download the older driver's for Motorola

Windows_WDM_6.02.13_W2KXP_DFV.zip

The file name would be like this...
These are the only driver's which worked in Windows with my SM56 Modem...

make sure the correct port is selected in the modem properties...also, check if you have to switch something on in ur fone for the communicating with the pc to start cuz in some phones u gotta do that
