Default new problem in "run" pls help


hi,

i face a weird problem today in windows. wen i click "run" and type in msconfig, services.msc etc.. they woek fine.. but when i type "cmd", it jus gets the black dos screen and then goes off... and when i type regedit, same thing happens.. pls help me fix it...

Try replacing the regedit.exe and cmd.exe in the Windows Directory.

For this,

1. Navigate to Start button.
2. Then RUN
3. Type "sfc" (Hope this works).
4. Extract the required two files in X:>Windows> directory.

i just discovered "sfc" also doesnt work! any other solution?
