How to create desktop shortcarts

Can anyone inform me about how to create shortcarts of shutdown, restart and stand-by on desktop. Thanks..

First of all :: Right Click on Desktop & choose New Shortcut

:: Browse :C:\Windows\System32\Shutdown.exe , where C: is ur main partiton

:: Click Next & than Finish

:: Right Click on new shortcut that u have maken & choose properties

:: In the Target box, append the command line switch -l (to log off), -s (to shut down), or -r (to reboot)

If u r asking for windows 98, then:

Shutdown: rundll32.exe shell32.dll,SHExitWindowsEx 1
Restart: rundll32.exe shell32.dll,SHExitWindowsEx 2
Log Off: rundll32.exe shell32.dll,SHExitWindowsEx 0
Power Off: rundll32.exe shell32.dll,SHExitWindowsEx 8

If u want for XP,install Tweak XP. It will do the thing for u.

Tweak xp is good .For the progarm files just go to start--->program--->getright(for example)right click on the program u want to create shortcut then it will place shortcut to the desktop.
