Default Protect files/folders on my CD-Rs ! ! !

I have a lot of personal information on my drives and back them up on CDs.

Is there anyway to password-protect these files/folders on my CD-Rs so that no one else can view the contents???

I am running Window XP sp2

K Simple,

Put all the files u need in a folder and rightclick it and go to Winrar > Add to Archive ...
Now in the menu that appears, choose ur compression level, filename, blah, blah and go to the tab, ADVANCED ...
Now u will see a button Set password !
Click it and set ur password and the option for encrypting filenames etc....
and then press ok and create ur archive after verifying all the needed options !
Hope that helped !

Qwerty

Yes it is a good idea to compress the files/folder and make it password protected and it also saves space....

Well! U can use Cryptainer LE - Free 128bit Encryption Software for protection & if u want to protect from CD to CD copy than use CD Manipulator which can make 30 min hard to copy CD's........

You may even use folder lock to lock up the folders.
