Default Upgrade dilemma!

I intend to buy an Athlon 64 3200+ (Socket 939) Processor. But I don't anything about the different variants it comes in and which one's the best. I know of only the Winchester. What about Venice? Also, which upgradation will boost performance - upgrading from 3000+ (Venice) to 3200+ (939) CPU or adding 2x256MB 400MHz DDR RAM to my exising 2x256MB 400MHz DDR RAM run in dual channel mode, so that it becomes 1GB? My Mobo is MSI RS480 (IGP).

I would suggest to go fo the RAM upgrade but regading the CPU upgrade there wont be much difference in performance. Your model 3000+ is good enough..If you really want to upgrade ur processor..wait for few months and go for more higher models.
