Default ECS-KN1 Extreme (1.0)

hey mates howz this motherboard,

ECS-KN1 Extreme (1.0)

http://www.cyberstarindia.com/html/o...www.ecs.com.tw

i havent heard the brand name before but the specs and pricing is good. Is it good or **** ? does it compare to asus , gigabyte , msi ??

and howz this one ,

FOXCONN NF4UK8AA-8EKRS

http://www.foxconnchannel.com/produc...NF4UK8AA-8EKRS

are these two brands any good and should one go for them looking at the pricing ? both these boards are nforce 4 ultra boards for socket 939 amd processors but are marginally cheaper than asus n msi boards. what is the catch ?

They are both very good motherboards. Foxconn performs better than MSI neo 4 platinum in most tests but it's not equipped with all the features and hence costs pretty less. I read the ECS mobo review and it's very fast. But since they are both relatively new in india warranty might become an issue.
