Default DVDs


hello i'm new to this forum could anyone help me in giving info on which dvds are good quality that are available in indian market? can i use cheap quality ones???

i want your personal experiences so i'm asking else i would have checked some dvd site plzz gimme info

sony and samsung are best.It cost around 60 r.s.were as in cheap mean melody is good it cost only 20 r.s. all of them have 4.7 g.b.

but one of my friends used imation on LITE ON DVD R/W but failed to get burnt.. any one using cheap quality dvds can anyone gimme rough duration of how long they gonna last any problems sooner or later???

moser baer are the best i think...around 50 bucks

if u wanna go for cheap ones, i jus got a pack of DVDs by sum manufacturer called SAMRAT...rs25...name sounds weird but they r pretty good quality n i scratched one of em pretty bad still no data loss.

I think cheapo media will last for 10 years or so because branded ones are said to have a shelf life of 100 years...

If anybody knows correctly please let me know........
