Windows XP Home (Is it legal to use Home edition to start a business ??)
Office XP
Office 2003
XP Pro - around 7500
XP Home - around 5500
Office XP Std should be around 10-11K
Office 2003 Std is around 13K
Office 2003 Pro is around 15K

About using home edition for business, I dont think it should make any difference..it might be written in the small letter that you cannot use home for business use but practically no one askes for it...

Regards
Deep

@deep
no offence meant mate...i may be wrong
but i don't think the XP Home edition is as costly as Rs. 5500, as you've posted
i saw the price in a retail shop 2 months ago and i remember it was something like Rs.3750 or something

anywayz

Actually I had got these rates when I we had purchased some softwares for our office so now its possible that they might have reduced the rates but I didnt expect that they will reduce around 2K..

the edition I am talking is, box pack edition with the cd..
