Default CD Drive lost!!!!!


My computer running on Win98 cannot find the CD Drive though its installed correctly. Even I cannot find it in the CMOS setup. What to do?

get it checked by a service person. the drive or the data cable maybe faulty. Try and see if it gets detected on other system(pc). reply....

See if the CD-ROM is connected properly. Check the power supply. See if the cables are in proper order.

may be cable problem orelse u may not connect it properly.
