Category view in ControlPanel

Help !
I cant switch back to category view in control panel.
i have only classic now.
i cant see an option of switching in the left pane too.
it happened after game XP, but i have restored all but this.

Plz Help. !

if u have used game xp then it had maked a backup of the changes

so just use the backup
there an option in game xp to revert back the changes

this will solve yours problem
otherwise theres other method also

use Tweak Ui

I did the bckup and no tweak XP didnt help.
can uexactly tell me wheres the option ?
Reverting dint help as i already said .

Open regedit and nevigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

In right-side pane look at key, named ForceClassicControlPanel, if it exists then delete or set its value to 0
Thats it...

No There is no key there , only one key of some remote thing,

boy did u mess up royally friend ! sorry i have no solution; i can only empathise with u ! even i had got into a silmilr mess after using SafeXP; fortunately i always create a systemrestore point b4 trying out anything new.

Nah!
No benefit in creating, cauz its for disabling the ability for new control panel. (It should be DWORD value).
U can serach for same key in HKEY_USERS too.
