Pinnacle or Compro - Please help.......

Hi friends!

I want to buy TV Tuner card to record my favourite TV showsin DVD quality or the best possible quality. Should I go for pinnacle or compro. Also please tell me the model no. of the cards, and also their pricing. I want the higest quality.

Pinnacle one as its only for Rs. 3000 and the best availabe and best in india

i have a pinnacle PCTV Plus card.

its pretty good and it even has a remote with it which is a must for us couch potatoes.

quality of recording will depend on ur cable quality. if u get good cable, or ur gonna connect it to a dish or something, then it will be good. if ur cable is bad, the card cant improve on it obviously.

also, this card can receive FM i donno if u can record that too but most probably u can

i dont remember the price sorry but i remember it was a good buy even then...which was around a year ago.

there might be better models out now check on their site or call up ur computer guy. maybe he can give u a demo also with 2-3 different cards.

for DVD quality, U will need a TV Tuner card with hardware mpeg-2 encoding, something not found in both of them,
