To Limit the Speed of My Burner...

Hi Guyz...
Cud u tell me... How can I limit the speed of my Burner thru use of any 3rd party software/Registry Tweak..So that Nero/Other Burners will not be able to burn it at a Higher Speed , Like, I want the Burner Software to Detect my Burner's Max Writing Speed as Lower. For eg: My Samsung SW230B CD-RW Max out at 40 X. I wud Like Nero to detect it as 24X. So that Nero doesn't Go Higher than 24 X. I hv My own Reasons 4 wnting this.
I Use WinXp SP2, intel celeron 1.0GHZ , 256 MBSDRAM..

The best thing would be that you can reduce the speed to 24x before the burning process starts....

If you want to reduce it 24x permanently then i think you should tweak your firmware...

I think it is difficult to do... for samsung

use nero express
in the "final burn settings"

use this option

"writing speed = 24x"

so nero will oly wright at 24 x and not go ahead

Pls let me know abt a 3rd Party SW/Registry Tweak so that I Can Restrict the Max Burn Speed Setting of My Burner SW. I want to Set the MaxBurn Speed at a different Value so that Whenever I restart PC/Restart the SW...I want the New Value to be the ONLY Burn Speed available... "Final Burn Setting" will require me to change me the value every single time I attempt to burn a CD...So No Luck there. NyWay Thnks 4 dropping by.
