u can take up project related to COMPUTER NETWORKS...as this will really make u understand its concepts and there is a wide scope for u to get good marks as well as the topic is interesting too...
I myself did this Project for my 2nd year I.T engineering (now im in my 3rd year) and i prepared Powerpoint slides with a webpage and showed it on a projector....
If u cant make a webpage its not a problem but u shud try and make Powerpoint presentations (as it will be effective)..but the main thing is that u shud present the topic really well..
But please also keep with urself a HARD COPY (a printable copy) of ur project,no matter watever topic or speakin on..as this will be handy if sum one from ur teaching staff requires it for reading...(u can Print it and make it as a sort of a book including the Index/Contents of topics at the front)
U can get loads of info on this topic on Google....
U can take up topics as:
Networking Types (as LAN,MAN,WAN etc..)
Network Cabling (as different types of cables used )
Protocol Types (as Ethernet,Local Talk,ATM etc..)
Topology (as tree,mesh,ring,star etc...)
Applications of Networking (ur ending part for the project)
