Default wuts the use of DC++ ?


u know i hear a lot about DC++ nowadays.... can someone explain how it is nice or somthing.... is it related to IRC or something..... please tell me... i also tried downloading it but cudn't get any use of it.....

Tell me first, can you afford Visual Studio suite to get Microsoft Visual C++. If you can I think you are a rich guy. If you cant you hav to use DC++.

At least u could havegoogled befor u answered that question

Its an open source software used for file sharring over a network. PPl have said its really good

try it if you want to....its got loads of stuff in its loads of hubs....you can get ANYTHING there.....however the bad part is that you have to share a lot....and i mean a LOT!!!! (more that 20GB atleast if you want to get in a big hub).....so you sometimes end up uploading much more than downloading!!....also i didnt find the downloading speeds all that great....

the best thing would be install the vc++software which is there on this month's Digit DVD

It has a CAP/LIMIT for sharing there. U must have it, to start sharing.

and if u r in Mumbai and have Sify Connection..

Then u r in a treat.. Sify ppl make their own hub in DC ++ and share downloads exceeding speed 1 MBps..

ive seen it with my own eyes.. damn.. i need to get sify

even if your connection is 128 KBPS???? and whats the name of the hub??

Its just users who sit on their PC and join in. The network is of 100 MBPs so its users sharing from one PC to another
